Gantt View
A timeline view where records appear as horizontal bars spanning from a start date to an end date. Ideal for project planning, sprint tracking, and resource scheduling.
Configuration
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Start date | Which date column marks the beginning |
| End date | Which date column marks the end |
| Scale | Timeline granularity: Day, Week, or Month |
How it works
- Choose start and end date columns
- Each record appears as a bar on the timeline
- The bar length represents the duration (end - start)
- Select Day/Week/Month scale to zoom in or out
- Scroll horizontally to navigate the timeline
Common uses
- Project timeline with task durations
- Sprint planning (sprint start/end dates)
- Campaign scheduling
- Resource allocation
- Product roadmap
Note
Both start and end date columns must exist in your table. Records without dates don't appear in the Gantt view.
View-specific settings
Each view has its own independent filter, sort, group, and hidden field settings. Changing settings in one view doesn't affect other views.
Creating a new view
- Click the + button next to the view tabs
- Select the view type
- Configure the view-specific settings
- Name the view (e.g., "My Tasks", "This Week", "Pipeline")
You can create multiple views of the same type. For example, three different Kanban views stacked by different fields.
Sharing views
Views can be shared individually:
- Share link: send a link to a specific view
- Embed: embed a specific view on a website
- Permissions: control who can see/edit each view
