AI Assistant

The email editor includes an AI chat overlay powered by GPT-4.1. Describe what you want in natural language, and the AI generates or modifies blocks on the canvas in real-time.

How to use it

  1. Click the AI chat icon in the editor toolbar
  2. Type your request in the chat input
  3. Watch the AI modify the canvas in real-time (streaming SSE)
  4. Review and adjust as needed

What it can do

Real-time streaming

The AI generates changes via Server-Sent Events (SSE); you see blocks appear and modify on the canvas as the AI works. No waiting for a complete response.

Tips for better results

DoDon't
Be specific: "Add a blue CTA button with text 'Start Free Trial'"Vague: "Add a button"
Reference existing content: "Change the heading above the button"Ambiguous: "Change the text"
Describe the purpose: "This is a re-engagement email for inactive users"Skip context
Iterate: "Make it shorter", "Now add social links"Try to do everything in one prompt
Tip

Use the AI to generate the first draft, then manually refine. The AI is great at structure and layout, but you know your brand voice and specific messaging better.

Note

AI-generated content should always be reviewed before sending. Check for factual accuracy, brand voice consistency, and that links/CTAs point to the right URLs.
