What is zap?

A Zap is Zapier's name for a single workflow — one trigger + one or more actions chained together.

Definition

Full definition of zap

Zapier popularized this naming. Tiny Command, Make, and n8n call them workflows or scenarios. Functionally identical: an automation that fires on a trigger and runs a sequence of steps. If you're migrating from Zapier, your Zaps become Tiny Command workflows.
