Chatwoot

Chatwoot open-source customer messaging

Chatwoot is the open-source customer-messaging platform — unified inbox for live chat, email, WhatsApp, Facebook, SMS, plus a built-in CRM and automation engine. Used by teams that want Intercom-class functionality with full data ownership and SaaS pricing flexibility. Tiny Command exposes three actions, no triggers (Chatwoot supports outbound webhooks per-account configured in admin Settings → Integrations → Webhooks; point at a Tiny Command webhook trigger URL for message-created, conversation-status-changed events): List Conversations (paginated with filters by inbox, status, assignee), Send Message (post a reply to an existing conversation as the authenticated agent — outgoing customer-facing or private internal note), Get Profile (agent or contact profile lookup). The connection uses a Chatwoot user API access token from My Profile → Access Token plus the Chatwoot instance URL (self-hosted or chatwoot.com hosted). The same API works against both deployments.

Actions

Do anything Chatwoot can do, from a workflow.

Every action accepts dynamic inputs from upstream nodes, whether that's an AI output, a form field, or a search result.

ActionWhat it does
Get Agent ProfileReturns an agent or contact profile by ID. Useful for resolving user IDs to readable identity in downstream notifications.
List ConversationsPaginated conversations with filters by inbox, status, assignee. Useful for "what's in the queue this morning" capacity-planning workflows and for bulk-action workflows that operate on conversation sets.
Send MessagePosts a customer-facing reply (outgoing) or an internal team note (private). Routes via the conversation's originating channel by default. Useful for "AI-drafted response posted as private note for agent review" or for full-auto reply workflows on low-complexity tickets.

Before you build

Three things worth knowing.

Filter at the trigger

Tiny Command counts a run the moment a trigger fires. Filtering early means only matching events spend your usage budget.

Authorize once, reuse anywhere

Connect Chatwoot once and every workflow on your account can use its triggers and actions. You don't have to re-auth per workflow.

No JSON to read

Every Chatwoot field shows up in the visual picker for downstream nodes. The raw payload is there for power users, optional for everyone else.
