Tinybird

Tinybird real-time analytics on ClickHouse

Tinybird is the real-time analytics platform built on ClickHouse — ingest events, build SQL transformations, expose results as low-latency API endpoints. Used by product teams building user-facing analytics features (dashboards in your app for your customers' data, search-as-you-type-style real-time queries). Tiny Command exposes two actions, no triggers: Ingest Events (push events into a Data Source via Tinybird's NDJSON ingestion endpoint — high throughput, sub-second from ingest to query availability), Query API Endpoint (call a previously-built API endpoint with parameters and get back the SQL result). The connection uses a Tinybird API token. The standard pattern: events flow into Tinybird (via Tiny Command Ingest Events, Kafka, or the ClickHouse SDK), an analyst builds SQL transformations + an API endpoint, your app/workflow calls the endpoint at sub-second latency to serve analytics. For workflows that need "low-latency analytics on lots of events", Tinybird is purpose-built.

Actions

Do anything Tinybird can do, from a workflow.

Every action accepts dynamic inputs from upstream nodes, whether that's an AI output, a form field, or a search result.

ActionWhat it does
Ingest EventsSends one or more events to a Tinybird Data Source via the Events API for low-latency analytical ingestion. Use it for product analytics, audit logs, or anything you'll query through Pipes later.
Query API EndpointQueries a published Tinybird API endpoint with the supplied parameters and returns the JSON response. Use it to embed real-time analytics or to drive in-app charts.

Before you build

Three things worth knowing.

Filter at the trigger

Tiny Command counts a run the moment a trigger fires. Filtering early means only matching events spend your usage budget.

Authorize once, reuse anywhere

Connect Tinybird once and every workflow on your account can use its triggers and actions. You don't have to re-auth per workflow.

No JSON to read

Every Tinybird field shows up in the visual picker for downstream nodes. The raw payload is there for power users, optional for everyone else.

If we missed yours, ping support. We usually reply within an hour.

How do I connect Tinybird to Tiny Command?
Open the Tiny Command workflow builder, drop in a Tinybird node, and click Connect. Authorize Tinybird once and any workflow on your account can use its triggers and actions. Most teams finish the connection in under two minutes.
What Tinybird triggers does Tiny Command support?
Tiny Command focuses on outbound actions for Tinybird today. Use Tiny Command's universal Webhook or Schedule trigger to start Tinybird workflows, then run any Tinybird action you need.
What Tinybird actions can I run from a workflow?
2 Tinybird actions are available out of the box, covering calendar & scheduling operations like "Ingest Events". Every action accepts dynamic inputs from upstream nodes, whether that's a search result, an AI output, or a form field.
Is the Tinybird integration real-time?
Tinybird actions execute synchronously inside your workflow. Tiny Command waits for Tinybird's API to confirm before continuing to the next step, so downstream nodes can rely on the result.
Do I need to write code to use Tinybird with Tiny Command?
No. Every Tinybird trigger and action is fully configurable from the visual workflow builder. For edge cases that aren't covered, drop in a custom HTTP node and call any Tinybird API endpoint directly.
How much does the Tinybird integration cost?
There's a free tier you can start on without a credit card. Higher run volumes and team features come with paid plans. The Tinybird integration itself has no per-app surcharge.
