Google Analytics

Google Analytics (legacy + GA4)

Google Analytics on Tiny Command provides standard reporting access — the core "what happened on my site" data pull. Tiny Command exposes two actions, no triggers: Run Report (standard date-range query with dimensions and metrics), Get Realtime Report (the last 30 minutes of activity from the real-time data layer). Note: GA4 is the current version (Universal Analytics was sunset in 2023). This connector targets GA4 — the older UA endpoints no longer return data. The connection uses Google OAuth with analytics.readonly scope plus the GA4 property ID. For most workflows, the dedicated ga4 connector has the same shape with the same actions plus List Accessible Properties; this connector is the simpler subset. For "weekly analytics digest to Slack" or "track campaign UTM performance" workflows, Run Report against the appropriate dimensions and metrics is the path.

Actions

Do anything Google Analytics can do, from a workflow.

Every action accepts dynamic inputs from upstream nodes, whether that's an AI output, a form field, or a search result.

ActionWhat it does
GA Realtime ReportReturns the last 30 minutes of activity from GA's real-time data layer. GA4-only since UA was sunset. For "what's happening on the site right now" dashboards and anomaly-detection workflows.
GA Run ReportStandard date-range analytics query — GA4 dimensions and metrics. For weekly/monthly digest workflows or for "alert when key metric drops" performance monitoring.

Before you build

Three things worth knowing.

Filter at the trigger

Tiny Command counts a run the moment a trigger fires. Filtering early means only matching events spend your usage budget.

Authorize once, reuse anywhere

Connect Google Analytics once and every workflow on your account can use its triggers and actions. You don't have to re-auth per workflow.

No JSON to read

Every Google Analytics field shows up in the visual picker for downstream nodes. The raw payload is there for power users, optional for everyone else.

Google Analytics actions execute synchronously inside your workflow. Tiny Command waits for Google Analytics's API to confirm before continuing to the next step, so downstream nodes can rely on the result.
