Mixpanel
Mixpanel product analytics events
Mixpanel is the product-analytics platform — event tracking, funnels, retention, cohorts — the long-running competitor to Amplitude. Tiny Command exposes three actions, no triggers (Mixpanel is the destination for events; for "react to a behavioural cohort" workflows, use Mixpanel's Lexicon + Webhook destinations to push cohort entries to a Tiny Command webhook trigger): Track Event (push a discrete event into Mixpanel with distinct_id, event name, properties; the granular signal that drives funnel and retention analysis), Set User Profile (upsert user-level properties for People analytics), Import Events (Batch) (bulk-load historical events — useful for backfilling from another analytics tool or for daily batch-imports from a warehouse). The connection uses a Mixpanel project token plus the project ID plus a service account for the Import endpoint. The EU vs US region distinction matters at connection time (api-eu.mixpanel.com vs api.mixpanel.com).
Do anything Mixpanel can do, from a workflow.
Every action accepts dynamic inputs from upstream nodes, whether that's an AI output, a form field, or a search result.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Mixpanel Import Events (Batch) | Bulk-load events with historical timestamps. For backfilling from another analytics tool or for daily batch-imports from a warehouse. |
| Mixpanel Set User Profile | Upserts user-level properties used in People analytics. For "external state change → reflect in Mixpanel for cohort accuracy" sync workflows. |
| Mixpanel Track Event | Sends a behavioural event with distinct_id, event name, properties. The base server-side event hook — for events that don't fire from client SDKs (webhook-triggered states, async backend events). |

Three things worth knowing.
Tiny Command counts a run the moment a trigger fires. Filtering early means only matching events spend your usage budget.
Connect Mixpanel once and every workflow on your account can use its triggers and actions. You don't have to re-auth per workflow.
Every Mixpanel field shows up in the visual picker for downstream nodes. The raw payload is there for power users, optional for everyone else.
