Drift
Drift conversational marketing automation
Drift is the conversational-marketing platform (now part of Salesloft after the 2024 acquisition) — live chat + chatbot + sales engagement designed around the "playbook" of qualifying website visitors into meeting bookings in real-time. Tiny Command exposes four actions, no triggers (Drift fires events via webhooks configured in the Drift admin pointing at a Tiny Command webhook trigger URL — common events are new_conversation, conversation_status_change, new_message): List Conversations (paginated history with filters by status and assignee), Send Message (post a message to a conversation as the current Drift user — operator-facing reply), Create Contact (upsert a contact record with email, name, phone, attributes), Get Contact. The connection uses Drift OAuth at app-level scope. Drift's playbook concept is the centerpiece — when a visitor matches a playbook's targeting rule, Drift's bot starts a conversation and qualifies; if qualification succeeds, a human rep joins. The Send Message action is the workflow path for "rep replies via Tiny Command" patterns (e.g., a Slack approval triggers the Drift reply).
Do anything Drift can do, from a workflow.
Every action accepts dynamic inputs from upstream nodes, whether that's an AI output, a form field, or a search result.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Create Drift Contact | Upserts a contact (Drift dedupes on email) with name, attributes, custom fields. For "sync CRM lead into Drift so the bot has full context when they next chat" workflows. |
| Get Drift Contact | Returns a contact by ID or email with all attributes and conversation history references. The standard lookup before update or for enrichment patterns. |
| List Drift Conversations | Paginated conversations with filters by status and assignee. Useful for triage workflows or for "all unassigned conversations from last hour" capacity awareness. |
| Send Drift Message | Posts a message into a specific conversation as the current Drift user. For "AI-drafted response → reviewed by rep → fire via Drift" workflows or for automated replies on routine ticket types. |

Three things worth knowing.
Tiny Command counts a run the moment a trigger fires. Filtering early means only matching events spend your usage budget.
Connect Drift once and every workflow on your account can use its triggers and actions. You don't have to re-auth per workflow.
Every Drift field shows up in the visual picker for downstream nodes. The raw payload is there for power users, optional for everyone else.
