Nobody launches without a yes, and nobody waits nine days for one

Nobody launches without a yes, and nobody waits nine days to get one.

Campaign approvals rarely fail because people disagree. They fail because the request is buried four replies deep and the launch date arrives before the answer does. This recipe puts every proposal on one form, hands the approver a link they can act on in seconds, and writes the decision and who made it onto a row you can point at six months later when finance asks who signed off on the spend.

What gets built

3 things appear in your workspace.

Installing provisions each one, wired together and ready to run.

FormCampaign Proposal Form

Where marketers submit a campaign for approval: name, channel, budget, timing, and objective. Publishing it auto-creates the Campaign Proposals response sheet, which is the single system of record.

EmailCampaign Decision Email

Reusable template used to notify the submitter of the approval decision.

WorkflowCampaign Approval Workflow

Pauses for stakeholder approval when a proposal is submitted, then updates the proposal's status on the response sheet and emails the submitter the decision.

How it works

Step by step, once it is running.

  1. 01
    Submit a Campaign Proposal

Marketers fill in the published Campaign Proposal Form: campaign name, channel, budget, target launch date, and the objective. Submitting it fires the workflow automatically.

  2. 02
    Every Proposal Is Logged

Publishing the form auto-creates its Campaign Proposals response sheet, the single record of every submission. The workflow stamps each row approved or rejected once the decision is made. There is no second sheet to reconcile.

  3. 03
    Pause for Stakeholder Approval

The workflow pauses at a Human-in-the-Loop step. The approver receives the review request with a secure link showing the full proposal, and clicks Approve or Reject. The approver never logs into anything and never opens a spreadsheet, which is the whole difference between a decision today and a decision next week.

  4. 04
The Record Updates and the Submitter Hears Back

On approve, the row is marked approved and the submitter is emailed the green light. On reject, the row is marked rejected and they're asked to refine and resubmit, so nobody is left wondering where their proposal went. That row is the part you will be glad of at budget review: every campaign, its cost, its approver, and the date they said yes.

What you walk away with
FAQ

Questions about Marketing Campaign Approval.

What problem does this solve?
Approval limbo. A proposal is logged the moment it is submitted and routed to a stakeholder in Slack, so the request has a visible owner instead of sitting in a direct message somebody forgot to answer.
What do I need to connect?
Slack and Gmail. Slack delivers the approval request to your marketing channel, and Gmail sends the Campaign Decision Email to whoever submitted the proposal. Google Chat, Telegram, Discord and Brevo are supported swaps.
Is the approval automatic?
No. The workflow pauses at a human approval step. AI is not making launch decisions here; the recipe removes the chasing and the lost thread, not the judgement.
Does the submitter always hear back?
Yes. Approved or rejected, the record updates and the Campaign Decision Email goes out, so a no is communicated as clearly as a yes.
Can I customize the proposal form?
The Campaign Proposal Form is an ordinary form in your workspace. Add the fields your team argues about, budget, channel, audience or launch date, and they will be captured on every proposal from then on.
