Salesloft
Sales engagement events from Salesloft
Salesloft is the sales-engagement platform reps use to run multi-touch outreach cadences (sequence of emails, calls, LinkedIn messages, custom tasks). Two triggers cover the engagement signals: Cadence Step Completed (a rep completed a step against a person in a cadence, useful for downstream celebration or follow-up automation), Call Logged (a phone call was logged against a person, with the call outcome). Six actions handle the operational side: Upsert Person (the Salesloft Person object, create or update), Add Person to Cadence (the workhorse action; most workflow logic resolves to "add this person to the right cadence"), Remove Person from Cadence, Log Call, Log Email, List Cadences. The integration uses Salesloft's OAuth. Common pattern: a Marketing Qualified Lead from HubSpot fires Upsert Person + Add Person to Cadence to the right outbound sequence based on company size and industry; or a Call Logged with a "demo booked" outcome fires a workflow that creates the Calendly invite and a paired prep doc in Notion.
Workflows start when Salesloft does.
2 real-time triggers, each backed by a webhook subscription. Events arrive within seconds and you don't have to set up polling.
Fires when a cadence step finishes for a person. For granular activity-tracking workflows that need to log each touch separately to CRM.
Fires when a call is logged in Salesloft (manually or via dialler integration). For "auto-sync call to CRM activity timeline" workflows.
Do anything Salesloft can do, from a workflow.
Every action accepts dynamic inputs from upstream nodes, whether that's an AI output, a form field, or a search result.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Salesloft Add Person to Cadence | Enrolls a person in a sequence. For "qualified lead → start the outbound cadence" or "trial signed up → enroll in activation sequence" workflows. |
| List Salesloft Cadences | Returns paginated cadences with metadata. Useful for resolving cadence IDs at workflow setup. |
| Salesloft Log Call | Records a call activity tied to a person with notes, duration, disposition. For "external dialler → log to Salesloft for unified sales-activity tracking" workflows. |
| Salesloft Log Email | Records an email activity tied to a person. For "rep replied via Outlook directly → log to Salesloft cadence" sales-activity capture. |
| Salesloft Remove from Cadence | Stops a person's enrollment in a cadence. Standard pattern: prospect replied → remove from competing cadences to prevent double-touching. |
| Salesloft Upsert Person | Email-based dedupe — create or update in one call. The base hook for "external lead source → push to Salesloft for outbound activity" sync. |

Three things worth knowing.
Tiny Command counts a run the moment a trigger fires. Filtering early means only matching events spend your usage budget.
Connect Salesloft once and every workflow on your account can use its triggers and actions. You don't have to re-auth per workflow.
Every Salesloft field shows up in the visual picker for downstream nodes. The raw payload is there for power users, optional for everyone else.
