Facebook Page posts, messages, and insights

Facebook on Tiny Command is the Pages connector — personal Facebook profiles are not accessible through the Graph API for automation, so every action and trigger here operates on a Page (a business, brand, creator, or community Page the connected user manages). Two triggers fire from Page-scoped webhooks: New Message (a person sent the Page a Messenger message), and New Post (someone posted to the Page wall, or — depending on the Page's visitor-post settings — a public post mentioning the Page). Four actions cover the Page management surface: Create Page Post (text, link, or media), List Page Posts, Get Page Info, and Get Page Insights (returns the metric catalog Facebook surfaces: post reach, impressions, engaged users, page follows, page CTAs). The connection requires Facebook OAuth with Page-admin permissions, and the user picks which Page to connect at setup time. Page access tokens auto-rotate but the underlying user grant lasts 60 days — long-lived pages need periodic reauth.

Triggers

Workflows start when Facebook does.

2 real-time triggers, each backed by a webhook subscription. Events arrive within seconds and you don't have to set up polling.

Actions

Do anything Facebook can do, from a workflow.

Every action accepts dynamic inputs from upstream nodes, whether that's an AI output, a form field, or a search result.

ActionWhat it does
Create Page PostPublishes a post to a connected Page — text, link, or media. For "cross-publish from blog to Facebook Page" or "auto-share product launches" workflows.
Get Page InfoReturns the connected Page's profile — name, follower count, category, contact info. Useful for cross-Page reporting and for inventorying Page configuration.
Get Page InsightsReturns Page metrics — impressions, engaged users, post engagements, page follows, page views. Daily granularity. Useful for "weekly social performance digest" rollup workflows.
List Page PostsPaginated posts on the connected Page with engagement counts (likes, comments, shares). For "best-performing posts this month" reporting or for cross-platform syndication audits.

Before you build

Three things worth knowing.

Filter at the trigger

Tiny Command counts a run the moment a trigger fires. Filtering early means only matching events spend your usage budget.

Authorize once, reuse anywhere

Connect Facebook once and every workflow on your account can use its triggers and actions. You don't have to re-auth per workflow.

No JSON to read

Every Facebook field shows up in the visual picker for downstream nodes. The raw payload is there for power users, optional for everyone else.

How do I connect Facebook to Tiny Command?
Open the Tiny Command workflow builder, drop in a Facebook node, and click Connect. Authorize Facebook once and any workflow on your account can use its triggers and actions. Most teams finish the connection in under two minutes.
What Facebook triggers does Tiny Command support?
Tiny Command supports 2 real-time Facebook triggers, including "New Page Message", "New Page Post". Each trigger fires within seconds of the event happening in Facebook.
What Facebook actions can I run from a workflow?
4 Facebook actions are available out of the box, covering communication operations like "Create Page Post". Every action accepts dynamic inputs from upstream nodes, whether that's a search result, an AI output, or a form field.
Is the Facebook integration real-time?
Yes. New Page Message and every other Facebook trigger uses webhooks or push subscriptions, so workflows fire within seconds of the event in Facebook rather than on a polling schedule.
Do I need to write code to use Facebook with Tiny Command?
No. Every Facebook trigger and action is fully configurable from the visual workflow builder. For edge cases that aren't covered, drop in a custom HTTP node and call any Facebook API endpoint directly.
How much does the Facebook integration cost?
There's a free tier you can start on without a credit card. Higher run volumes and team features come with paid plans. The Facebook integration itself has no per-app surcharge.
