Medium

Medium article publishing API

Medium is the publishing platform that became home to many writer-builders and indie publications. Tiny Command exposes two actions, no triggers: Create Post (publish a new article with title, content as markdown or HTML, optional tags, optional canonical URL), Get User Profile. The connection uses a Medium integration token. Note: Medium has been phasing out new integration tokens. For new automation workflows, evaluate Substack, Ghost, or Beehiiv (much more active platforms); use Medium only if your audience is already there.

Actions

Do anything Medium can do, from a workflow.

Every action accepts dynamic inputs from upstream nodes, whether that's an AI output, a form field, or a search result.

ActionWhat it does
Create Medium PostPublishes an article with title, content (markdown or HTML), optional tags, optional canonical URL. For cross-publishing from your own blog to Medium with the canonical URL pointing back home.
Get Medium User ProfileReturns the connected user's Medium info. Useful for introspection workflows.
Recipes

Pre-built Medium workflows.

Clone any recipe and customize it in one click. Every recipe is fully editable.

Before you build

Three things worth knowing.

Filter at the trigger

Tiny Command counts a run the moment a trigger fires. Filtering early means only matching events spend your usage budget.

Authorize once, reuse anywhere

Connect Medium once and every workflow on your account can use its triggers and actions. You don't have to re-auth per workflow.

No JSON to read

Every Medium field shows up in the visual picker for downstream nodes. The raw payload is there for power users, optional for everyone else.
