Cloudinary

Cloudinary image and video CDN

Cloudinary is the image-and-video CDN with on-the-fly transformations — upload once, deliver in any size/format/quality via URL parameters, with automatic format optimisation (WebP, AVIF) and CDN delivery worldwide. Tiny Command exposes two actions, no triggers (Cloudinary emits upload/moderation events via webhooks configured in admin Settings → Webhooks; point at a Tiny Command webhook trigger URL): Upload Image (push an image from file or URL, with optional folder placement, tags, transformations applied on upload), List Resources (paginated browse of uploaded media with filters). The connection uses a Cloudinary cloud name + API key + API secret from the dashboard. The on-the-fly transformation is the key feature — once uploaded, every variant (thumbnail, hero, mobile, WebP, AVIF) is accessible via URL parameters without re-uploading. For e-commerce or content sites with diverse image needs, this is the right CDN. Cost scales with bandwidth + storage + transformations; for very high-volume serving, evaluate Bunny.net or Cloudflare Images alternatives.

Actions

Do anything Cloudinary can do, from a workflow.

Every action accepts dynamic inputs from upstream nodes, whether that's an AI output, a form field, or a search result.

ActionWhat it does
List ResourcesReturns paginated images and videos in the Cloudinary account with filters by folder, tag, resource type. Useful for media-inventory workflows or for "find all images uploaded last week" cleanup automation.
Upload ImageUploads an image from URL or base64 with optional folder placement, tags, and on-upload transformations. For workflows that auto-CDN images from upstream sources — "AI-generated image → upload to Cloudinary for transformation + delivery".

Before you build

Three things worth knowing.

Filter at the trigger

Tiny Command counts a run the moment a trigger fires. Filtering early means only matching events spend your usage budget.

Authorize once, reuse anywhere

Connect Cloudinary once and every workflow on your account can use its triggers and actions. You don't have to re-auth per workflow.

No JSON to read

Every Cloudinary field shows up in the visual picker for downstream nodes. The raw payload is there for power users, optional for everyone else.
